Today's Affirmation:  "Archangel Raphael, heal me.  Make all things right."

The Archangel Raphael is the Archangel of Healing.  His name means "Healing Power of God."  Raphael's aura is filled with the color emerald green.  This bright and beautiful green is the color of the heart chakra, of healing, and of growth.  Think about the green in nature.  Think about all things that grow and prosper.  This is Raphael's color.  His stones are malachite and emerald.

Raphael is one of the four most well known Archangels.  This is because of his role as a healer.  So many people suffer from so many different afflictions, and it is right and just that Heaven should provide angelic assistance for making ourselves well.  It is through this Archangel that the Universal Source channels its powerful healing energy.

Raphael understands the frailty of mankind.  He understands that we are vulnerable and susceptible to the intrusion of illness into body, mind, emotions, and spirit.  Thus, he is always ready to be invited to work with us on our frailties, limitations, and illnesses.

Raphael is the patron of those with addictions-a complex illness that involves the body, the mind, the emotions, and the spirit.  Addiction is the ultimate illness because it infiltrates all parts of our humanness.  Addiction is insidious and painful, not only for those who are its victims, but for all involved in the life of the addicted.

Through great love and angelic skill, Raphael stretches out his healing hands and pulls out that which makes us sick.  As a Divine entity, he understands that man often encourages his own illness as a filler for what is missing in his life.  Illness skews the focus of our life path and creates a detour to achieving our goals.

It is never easy to release illness,  and oftentimes it takes time to loosen its grip from our bodies, minds, emotions, and spirits.  But with Raphael's help, we can get better, we can improve, we can heal ourselves.  Never hesitate to call his name and ask for healing.

Raphael's angelic insight allows him to look for the root of disease, much of which is rooted in our past-our current past, and our past lifetimes.  Raphael helps to bring these past illnesses to light and helps us to confront them and conquer them. 

He assists us is discovering the truth about ourselves, and as the old aphorism goes, "The truth shall set you free."  In our self discovery, we free the stagnant tendencies that cause illness. Raphael is a bright torch in the darkness that leads us forward through those things that might potentially harm us.  He helps us to "stick to the road" so to speak, and to avoid the tall grass at its borders, tall grass that contains hidden dangers, challenges, and obstacles.

With  his powerful and healing hands, he lovingly hold us up when we are about to stumble and fall.  He communicates with us in our dream state, through our intuition-our inner knowingness, and through sudden bursts of insight.  His is the small inner voice that warns us when danger is approaching, and reminds us that what we are about to venture into is not the best choice for us and will bring us pain, discomfort, or harm.

Raphael also works with other angelic groups, primarily the Warrior Angels-the Powers-to remove negative entities and energy from our sacred space.  We can call upon him whenever we are doing a Clearing & Cleansing Ceremony.  He will gather the negativity in his hands of light and compress it so that it literally ceases to be.

Raphael Speaks:

"My loving children of earth.  We are here to love you and support you.  And love you and support you we do, at all times.  You are never alone.  It is impossible for you to be alone when so many Angelic beings are by your side helping you to overcome that which is dangerous and harmful to you.

We look over you and warn you when  you are about to embark on dangerous journeys.  We shed light on the pitfalls and traps that place themselves in your human path.  We throw up barriers to keep you away from these harmful influences.  Our efforts are rewarded by Heaven, for you are often tottering on the brink and cross safely over without even knowing you were in danger.  This is our work.  This is how we keep you safe.

There are time, however, when all of our efforts come to naught, for you always have free will to choose the danger you find yourselves in.  We never force the Will of Heaven on any.  You are always free to choose, even if it causes you great despair.  In such cases, we are near you to provide what comfort we can as you move through your despair.

Even in despair, there are great lessons to learn, and it is the human, the child of the universe, who often has to encounter the danger and damage face to face so that he learns to avoid it in the future.  Those of you who have touched the hot stove understand our words of truth.

But know this:  You do not have to experience every kind of danger and harm to learn these lessons of pain and healing.  You do not have to subject yourselves to illness and negative forces.  We understand how difficult it is for you to face these things and how long it takes you to move through the classroom of experience.

We are here to tell you that if you open your heart, and listen to the small still voice within you, that that you will recognize the danger before you plunge headlong into it.

We always love you as Heaven loves you, and it is always our primary goal to keep you safe and to bring healing and comfort in times of need.  Never hesitate to call upon us.  Our skill is great and the power of the Universal Source is behind us.

We love you.  Now learn to love yourselves as we love you, and you will be able to circumvent the covered pits of tigers.

Be open in your mind, body, spirit and emotions.  Accept Angelic help.  Ask for Angelic help.  We are there before your human thought is even fully formed.

We ever love you and care for you.  And it is our love for you that keeps us by your side.

Peace in all endeavors, now and always.  You are blessed in the sight of God, for the energy of the Universal Source flows through you, and in this way, are you in the image of Divinity.
