Today's Affirmation: "We do without doing and all gets done."

Good morning to all-

Get out of the way!  Let Universe do its job for you! 

Sometimes the very best thing we can do for ourselves is to do nothing at all, especially when something important is going on.  We mess with it, we mess with it, we mess with it.  Then, when we don't get the result we want, we quit-angry, frustrated-and walk away.

Here's a little story that I had heard years ago, from whom, I can't remember, but the story made an impact on me and I have remembered it ever since.  In fact, in the meditation and intuition classes I teach, I always tell this story to my students.

"Once there was a man who had died and gone to into the Great Beyond. There, he was greeted by an old man who looked like an old librarian (or math professor) who took him on a tour of the place.  It was a great place and there were many wonders and sights to behold. 

They entered a large structure that looked like an airplane hangar.  Inside, there were shelves and shelves and shelves of items:  houses, horses, office buildings, cars, pools, pictures of people.  The items were innumerable and the building was miles and miles and miles long.

Confused, the man asked, 'What is this place?'

The old man replied, 'These are all of things that people prayed for but were too impatient to wait for.'

The man's eyes opened wide with instant understanding.  Then he saw all the things that he had prayed for but was too impatient to wait for."

So, instead of always trying to manipulate a situation, we should let Universe do its job for us by simply getting out the way.  Yes, of course, we should do the necessary leg work.  We can't get hired for a job we haven't applied for.  We should continue to affirm our desire, send it out to the Universe, see it, feel, believe it is happening.  Not that it will happen, but that it is happening, that Universe is creating for us exactly what we want and need. 

Try this affirmation, " I welcome ___ into my life.  I accept ___ into my life.  _____ is now gently manifesting for me in accordance with all that is good and true and pure in the Universe, and for my highest good and the highest good of all concerned.”

Be patient.  Change takes time.  Sometimes there are many outside influences that have to be affected in order for our desire to manifest.  Here's an example:  You desire a better job.  You think about it, visualize it, feel it, affirm it.  But the person who has that job has to leave that job in order for you to have it.  So, Universe has to create a space for this person.  Once that person is out of the job that is meant for you, the company can advertise the position.  Once that happens, then you can apply.  See?  That's how it works.  Think of it like physics-for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

So, don't lose hope and don't get in the way.  Let Universe take the lead and you follow.  Things always work out so much better that way.
