Today's Affirmation:  "The Archangel Uriel guides me to exactly what I need to know today."

Knowledge and wisdom are extremely important to me.  I love knowledge.  I love wisdom.  I love seeking the knowledge and gaining the knowledge.  The same is true for me with wisdom.

As a high school English teacher (huzzah, 30 years and going strong) my motto is, "The more you know, the more you know."  All of my students over the years will tell you this.  I say it daily.  There is no substitute for knowing, for finding out, for gaining as much knowledge as possible.

Every day should be a quest to learn something new.  Knowledge and wisdom are always available to us, we just need to pursue it.  In fact, I also tell my students that having knowledge is always better than not having knowledge.  You don't always have to like the knowledge or agree with the knowledge, but it is far better to have it than not.

Archangel Uriel, "God's Light," is the archangel of knowledge and wisdom.  Uriel makes hidden information available to us.  He is the intellectual of the Archangel Realm.

Uriel is the patron of students, teachers, writers, and troubleshooters.  His color is reddish golden brown, like the color of leaves when they turn from green in autumn.  His color is earthy and organic.  When I encounter Uriel, I am always reminded of the way the air smells in autumn, crisp, electric, fresh, expectant.

Uriel helps us to learn new information, assimilate new information, and gain wisdom from our lessons and experiences.  He is a master of the practical solution and the creative approach to problem solving.

He works very subtly.  At night, when we go to bed with a situation that needs unraveling, he sends us the correct solution through our dreams.  He helps us see the implications of cause and effect.  If we do this, then this outcome is most likely; if we do that, then that outcome is most likely.

There are times when Uriel has intervened with exactly the right information, and we never even suspected that he had made the information available.  Sometimes he sends the answer through others, through something we hear from a friend or something we read.  He's pretty slick with giving us whatever we need in a way that is easy for us to acquire it. 

There have been countless times when I have had this experience, whether it has been how to construct a creative project or how to approach a problem with a co-worker.  Uriel always comes through for me. 

Uriel  not only helps us acquire us the knowledge that we need to live our daily lives successfully, he also makes available to us, Divine knowledge.  He leads us into the Unknown, and helps us to see the correlation between what is happening in our earth life and what is happening or has happened in our soul life.  He makes available to us, hidden mysteries and spiritual understanding. 

Whenever we need more information in order to make an educated decision, he is there to provide for us and to encourage us.

"My Dears,

We are always here to how you the way.  to help you navigate your way through the unknown.    Knowledge is precious and far few people actively seek it.  I man more actively seeks knowledge and wisdom, he would be able to do more miraculous things than he has already done.  Imagine the possibilities, not only for the advancement of mankind, but for the individual himself. 

Each of you, my dears, is on an intellectual journey, a journey of wisdom, whether you realize it or not.  Far too many are living in a state of ignorance and denial, but denial is never a prosperous choice.  No progress can be made in denying the reality of things.

Denial keeps you mired exactly where you stand, floundering in the mud of ignorance.

Open you eyes, my dears, open them,  see what is before you and see what is behind you.  When you can see these things, you will be able to see what is beyond you.  All things become clear, and decision making is far easier.

We always love you, and our intention is not to chastise you for lack of knowledge, but to encourage you to seek it.  Seek it always.  Move forward with an active and open mind.  Consider all things.  Consider the impossible.  Look around you at the technological miracles that man has been able to unlock through the quest and acquisition of knowledge.

It is our hope that man will continue to search for answers and find answers to his own inner questions.

It is our hope that man will never stop asking "Why?" and never stop searching for answers to "Why?"

We can help you.  Call upon us at any time when you are worried.  Worry generates from a lack of knowledge, a lack of wisdom.  Anxiety is generated from a lack of knowledge and wisdom.  Avert these useless emotions by always seeking what is just beyond you.

Children, we do not intend for all of you to be physicists or to cosmologists or even scholars, but we do encourage  you to always seek that which brings your consciousness into the light.

Answer this:  "What is darkness?"  Darkness is a lack of light, and that light is understanding.  Darkness is ignorance.  These are universal symbols.

When we are in in darkness, we are in ignorance.  Ignorance is a lack of knowledge that prevents complete understanding.  My dears, do not enjoy ignorance.  It surely is not bliss.  It is only darkness.  Ignorance is a failed responsibility to know what is available to know.  Do not embrace ignorance.  Only embrace Light and knowledge.  Knowledge and his partner, wisdom, will lead you far.  Always seek it.

We leave you now with this final word.  "Seek to know all that can, vut seek mostly to know and understand yourselves.  Self knowledge is is the most valuable knowledge to each of you.  Be a soldier of the seeking of self knowledge.
