Today's Affirmation

"I release _____ from my life.  I am free."

We have all had the experience of having to let go of a relationship.  Some of us have had to let go of spouses or family members or friends. 

It is extremely difficult to go through this process of letting go.  It is painful and heart wrenching.  And emotions,some of which we didn't know we were capable, bubble up from deep inside of us.  They rise, like volcanic magma, from the root chakra, and completely fill us:  anger, resentment, bitterness, sadness, despair, sorrow, frustration.

It is extremely difficult to process all of this emotion.  We want to cry and scream and yell and throw things, and punch things.  We want to strike back, hurt the person who has hurt us.

So, what do we do?  How can we deal with this type of pain and hurt?

One way we can work through this difficulty process is to include a "Burning and Releasing Ceremony." 


What you need:

• An outdoor location that is quiet and where you will not be disturbed
• A medium/large ceramic or glass bowl in which you can safely burn paper
• A sheet of paper and a pen or pencil
• Dried white sage
• A lighter or some other safe way to ignite flame
• A large glass of water (just in case)

This is what you do:

• On the sheet of paper, write down exactly what or who you want to release from you life.  Write it very simply and clearly.  As you are writing down what you want to release, forom a clear mental picture of it in your mind.
• Fold the paper in half or quarters.
• Light the sage.
• Holding the burning sage in one hand and your paper in the other, use the sage to ignigte the paper.
• Place both the burning sage and paper in the bowl.
• Let it completely burn until nothing is left but ash.  If it fire goes out, then simply relight it.
• Say this or something similar:  "I release (fill in the blank) from my life.  I release him/her with the purest intention and  for the highest good of both of us.May this energy be cleansed and return to me tenfold as positive and loving energy.  I ask this in the name of all that is good and true and pure in the Universe."  Repeat this several times.
• Once the paper and sage is nothing but ash, you have several choices:  (1) Take the ash and scatter it in your garden or on any green living area.  (2)  Release the ashes into the air (this is good on a windy day).  
• Repeat the above wording.
• Done.

Today's Affirmation

 

"Today, I will actively work toward letting go and healing myself."

This morning, I would like to share some wisdom from my daughter who just turned twenty.  She, like many of us, has had to let go of a long term relationship.  The choice was her own.  I have watched her go through the long, emotional, and painful process of letting go.

I have been witness to each step she has taken and each piece of hard-fought progress and wisdom she has gained. 

 

 

The other day, I happened to be on her social media page and discovered this post.  This is a tremendous amount of wisdom for a twenty year old. 

 

          "Everyone deserves a second chance & we owe it to ourselves to try. Sometimes we 
           even go as far as fourth and fifth chances but somewhere along the lines we'll realize            
           that the only way to fix things is to walk away. I know in my heart that it's for the better        
           and I'm grateful for the things I've learned throughout that relationship. And so  
           begins  a new chapter of this crazy thing called life."

I wanted to share this with you this morning, because you may need this wisdom.  You may be going through your own break up and need guidance and insight.

 

I hope that these wise words of a twenty year old girl help you and soothe you and give you hope and courage.

Today's Affirmation

"Today I will be patient and wait on the Will of Heaven."

It is so hard to be patient.  I have been struggling my whole life with this. You may be also struggling with patience.  So how do we overcome?  How do we keep ourselves patient?

Well, I got this message this morning from my angelic helpers. "All that you desire and more is now manifesting.  Be content to wait upon the will of Heaven."

So now, I just refocus my attention on the jobs at hand:  cleaning my kitchen, doing a few loads of laundry, writing my books, doing my crafts, and going to my job and doing the best I can do, and breathe-alot.

I just close my eyes, and breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth slowly.  I focus on my breathing.  I listen to my breath going in and out.  And I just repeat the word "Patience."

This has gotten me through many times.

Today's Affirmation
"Today I will begin affirming and manifesting a better life."

 

 

 

If not now, when??

 

Don't let fear take over your life and prevent you from doing what you really want to do.  Don't let your dream for a better life die or sit in a holding pattern like planes on the tarmac because you are afraid to move forward.

Take the chance.  Do it.  If you don't do it now, what guarantees that you will do it later? 

The time is now to begin expanding your consciousness and moving forward with your life.  Slough off the old, the outmoded.  Let go of ideas that are no longer working for you.  Let go of relationships that are no longer satisfying or fulfilling and move on to a better life.  Actively seek out those jobs that offer you a more creative, lucrative salary and greater satisfaction.

Never say, "Oh, I can't do it now.  I have too much else going on."  There is never a bad time to actively affirm and manifest a better life, a better situation.

Ask your Higher Power to show you the way, to give you courage, to provide you with what you need.

Do it now.  Don't wait any longer.

Today's Affirmation

"Today I begin expanding my view of my Higher Power."

"Love is an ever-fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken."-William Shakespeare

This is one of my favorite quotes from Shakespeare's Sonnet 116.  The love that Shakespeare talks about is unconditional love.  The love that stands firm even when great disruption and turbulence try to disturb it.  The love that keeps loving no matter what.

 

This is the love of the Universal source.  The love of All That Is.  The love of God.   It is an ever-fixed mark.  It is unshakable and immovable. 

 

I have never believed in an angry God, a bitter God, a resentful God, a punishing God, a God of terror and destruction.  And I feel very sorry for those who believe this.  This provincial view was established for the control of the people.  To keep them in fear.  To keep them in line. To follow the rules.  What a horrible thing to always be threatened by an abusive concept of God.

 

Think about this:  We are told we are made in the image of God, so for those people who believe in an abusive God, does that mean that they too are abusive?  critical? resentful?  punishing?

 

NO!  We are made of a diviner essence.  An essence of LOVE.  A pure, true ever expanding heart that never stops loving, never stops giving.  Ever guides us and provides us with celestial help in the form of angels.  Makes available to us spiritual guides to help us along the way.  Encourages  us to commune with our loved one who have already passed over into spirit form.

 

The Universal Source of All That Is, no matter the terminology used to name it-God, Force, Source, it doesn't matter, is all the same--PURE LOVE.

 

So, dear friends, maybe it is time to expand your view of your Higher Power.  Instead of thinking of this pure source of love and kindness as a finite human figure or a image so far away that you can't quite connect with it, think of it as the best and purest form of love-unconditional love.

Today's Affirmation

Have you ever stopped to think about the power of your Higher Power?  Have you ever stopped to think about the tremendous unconditional love, like that of a parent for a child?  

We are so much loved and cherished by Universe, that we never need be afraid.  We can walk confidently with our heads high knowing that no matter what befalls us, we are loved, cherished, surrounded and protected with tremendous overwhelming love.  It is this love that shields us, buoys us up on stormy seas.

Today, acknowledge that your Higher Power loves you and protects you.

Today's Affirmation

 

"Today I will cultivate a willingness to break free from all forms of abuse.  I will trust that Universe supports me and will help me and protect me."

 

 

 

No one, and I mean no one, should endure abuse of any kind.  When we allow others to abuse in any way, we abdicate our personal power, we surrender our identities, we become victims.  This is not how Universe intended us to live.

 

The spirit and power of God is within each of us, and we undergo or allow abuse, we fail to honor the spirit within.

 

 

Universe understands the complexity of abuse-the abuser and the abused-and Universe has challenged us to break the cycle and life a life that is fulfilling to us.

 

If you, dear readers, are experiencing abuse of any kind and of any magnitude, consider breaking the cycle.  Yes, it can be risky.  Yes, it can be scary.  Yes, it can be challenging.  But Universe supports your freedom from the domination by others.  Universe supports your personal and spiritual growth.  Universe has seen to it that, waiting in the wings, is the entire realm of angels and other loving celestial beings who can put their arms around you, shelter you, help you to break the cycle and live a more fulfilling life.

 

It will not be easy, but those things that are most worth it, never are. 

 

Consider willingness to break free.  Begin manifesting your own freedom.  If there is a spark of confidence in your heart, a spark of willingness, then Universe will see to it that the deed is done.

 

Ask the Warrior Angels to come to your aid.  Ask the Universe to intervene.  If you do not ask, then nothing can be done.

 

My dear darlings, ask.  I encourage you.  Ask Universe to Divinely intervene.

 

May God bless you and may he work in your heart to manifest courage and willingness to break free.
