Today's Affirmation

 

"Today, I will remind myself that struggle is temporary, and after the struggle, I will celebrate my survival through it."

Life is a series of struggles and celebrations.  Without struggle, we would not know celebration, and without celebration, we would not appreciate the struggle.

This is how life works.  We move from one series of events to another, learning and gaining wisdom.  It is never easy to undergo struggle.  Some struggles are incredibly challenging, and sometimes we think we will never make it.

But we do make it.  We do endure.  We do move beyond where we have been.  We move through the fire and come out on the other side-sometimes a little scathed, sometimes a little crispy, sometimes with barely a burn.  But each time, we come through with new information, new insight, new wisdom, new and renewed strength that helps when we enter the fire again.

The most important thing about entering the fire is knowing that the eventually the journey through fire will end and we will shine brightly amid the smouldering ashes and smoke. 

Be steady.  Center and ground yourself.  Ask for Divine assistance.  Know that Universe always supports our growth and Universe is always present even when we feel alone or when Universe seems to be silent.  Universe, Our Higher Power, the Divine-never leaves us. 

I can tell you to be strong, but what wisdom is there in that?  What I can tell you is that you, me, all of us, have undergone the fire, have struggled, and thought that we simply could not make it to the end, only to find that yes, there is an end, and that we have survived, we have make it through the flames.

Be encouraged.

When the flames finally burn themselves out, then celebrate your voyage through them.  Celebrate all the good things Universe has provided. 

Be the Hero in your own story of struggle and celebration.

Today's Affirmation

 

"There is a season for all things.  Spring is my season.  All I have been working toward manifesting will begin to come into being."

Spring is a time of renewal.  It is a time for casting off the old, the outmoded, the outworn.  It is a time to blossom into newness and to celebrate rebirth.  It is a time to bring into being all that we have been working on manifesting.

Each of us undergoes our own seasons: 

Summer:  a time of great fruition and full blossoming; a time of maturity and richness and abundance

Fall-a time of the lessening of our resources (mental, emotional, physical, spiritual; weakness, diminished hope

Winter-a dark and cold time; a time when we feel isolated and stagnated; a time when we feel we are frozen in time or frozen in situations in which we find ourselves

Spring:  a time to wake up, to rouse our consciousness out of the winter stupor; to reinvigorate our bodies, minds, spirits

So, dear friends, rouse yourself!  Wake up!  Drink deeply from the well of the change from winter to spring.  Embrace rebirth! 

Accept the wonderful gifts that are coming to you.  Be open to the positive changes that Universe is bringing into your life!

Today's Affirmation

"Today I will open my heart and mind to the gifts that Universe gives me.  I freely accept them and will use them and enjoy them."

The future is abundant with gifts from the Universe.  We need to change our thinking from, "I can't have that" or "I don't deserve that," to "I welcome that with which the Universe blesses me" or "I accept that with which the Universe blesses me."

I have said this before, Shakespeare said, "there is nothing which is neither good or bad, but thinking makes it so."  The same is true with how we view our worthiness to receive the blessings of the Universe.

WE, all of us, deserve the best that Universe has to offer.  We simply need to open our hearts and minds to receive. 

Imagine this, if you will:  You have a unconditionally loving friend who has a great big, beautiful present for you.  He or She comes to you and says, "I love and appreciate you so much that I want you to have this special present for no other reason than because I love you.  I don't want or need anything back, I just want you to have this because I know you will enjoy it."

What would you do?  Many would say, "Oh, no, I couldn't."  Some would say, "What did I do to deserve it?"  Many would take it and feel obligated to later give a gift of equal value in return.  And some would simply not accept the gift.

BUT We are loved beyond measure and we do deserve any gift that Universe gives us.  So Change your thinking abut what you DO deserve, and simply open your hands and heart, receive the gift, and say, "Thank you so much!!!!!"

The Universe is generous, and wants to be generous to each of us.  We are worthy, and we do deserve every blessing that our Higher Power wants to give us.

Today's Affirmation

 

"Today I will be patient and wait on the will of Heaven"

 

 

It is not always easy to be patient and wait on the Universe to bring things into fruition.  But for today, I must practice patience, for I know that Universe is working for my highest and greatest good, and if I steel myself against impatience, then all will turn out the way that it should.

 

 

Universe always knows better than we what we need to be successful on our path.  It is we who interrupt our own flow by trying too hard.  If we can just sit back and look and listen for the signals of the Universe and let Universe do its job for us, we will be far better off and fare far better.
